Christmas At Home

There is one month of the year where I unapologetically shut off everything else and crank up the “Extra” volume in my home. That month is December! Some may say I’m Christmas crazy, but it brings me utter joy to pack in as much fun as possible with my kids. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I’m thankful I get to create core memories for my kids and allow these moments to be the catalyst for teaching the true meaning of Christmas.

Before my youngest was born, a dear friend excitedly told me about all of the Christmas traditions she created for her kids. Two that stood out were:

  1. Wrapping a Christmas book for every day leading up to Christmas which her kids opened each night

  2. Getting together with friends to prep 23 Christmas crafts + activities

I knew when my kids were old enough, I wanted to bring these traditions into our home as well. So, for the past 3 years I’ve been searching high and low for the best Christmas books and scouring Pinterest for simple, but fun, activities we could dive into each day.

If you want to add some Christmas magic to the rhythms in your home and family this season, check out this Christmas At Home guide to see what books and activities our family is diving into this year.
